There are six new languages to choose from:

These translators did a great job - send them your feedback by using the Help->Feedback and Support menu item. There is a special "Compose Mail..." button to notify the translator of the current language. Mailplane is now usable in eleven languages. German, French, Polish, Romanian, and of course English are all up-to-date, too.

This is the Tweak UI preference page in Japanese. Cute isn't it?
JapanesePrefs-1

Like to switch to one of the above languages? See Mailplane Help for instructions.

Personally, I like my version better than the Japanese one. That one just doesn’t seem….. stylish ;)

Just kidding. Cool all these new languages.

This app just gets better and better. Huge thanks and kudos to everyone involved, great job!

I just have a suggestion (actually a feature request). I use GMail to receive/send my work email. But by default GMail fetches mail from such accounts only once every 1 hour. So the only way to fetch email immediately is to go to “Settings” -> “Accounts” -> “Check mail now”.

It would be great if you can provide a button for this on the toolbar!

DYING to join your beta group and share in the fun, feedback and praises.

Even joined a forum promising its members (over at Cool OSX FORUMS) invitations to join.

What’s the wait time to get approved for a download? I’ve been Mac guy since CE and a GMAIL guy since that whole invitation-only crazy started out.

Wenn dass was bringt, Ich kann auch auf Deutsch “bitte!” sage auch!

;))

Standing (eagerly) by,
David

So I’ve been a user for a week, and to be honest I didn’t truly “get” this application before. Yeah - I love Gmail too, but Mail is very useful and integrated with OS X…plus you can write unconnected.

I’m here to eat crow.

This is one of my favorite applications right now. It is so simple, but you’ve nailed all of the little things making using Gmail a delightful experience without having a memory hog browser window always open.

Thank you!
-Josh

I can’t get “copy” and “paste” to work.  I have the latest version.

Is it just me?

Posted by Ruben Bakker  (09/25  at  06:29 PM)

Copy/Paste does work “on my side” and I haven’t received any other problem report.
I will contact you by private mail.
Best,
