Faster Gmail loading

Thanks to Google, Gmail loads much faster! Account switching, new message windows, and initial startup are much zippier!

Hi Scott,
I tried your suggestion, but didn’t feel any difference when using “nocheckbrowser”.
The speed difference I described is between Gmail 1 (the old version) and Gmail 2 (the new version).
BTW: Mailplane uses WebKit not Firefox or IE to render Gmail.

I’m not noticing any difference when loading Gmail—at all. I know this sounds ridiculous, but this is probably my biggest problem with Gmail.
Also, it seems to definitely load faster on IE than Firefox. So, to stop it from checking the browser I am using, I use this link to access my Gmail account:
