Mailplane turned two!

Second Birthday

Mailplane is now two years old! The adventure began March 8th 2007 with the search of 200 "test pilots". March, 14th 2007 was the big day: After MacNN and TUAW wrote about Mailplane, the 200 seats were gone in an hour. Before midnight on the same day a thousand Gmail users were registered on the waiting list!

Much has happened since then. I owe you a big thank you: Thank you for using Mailplane and thank you for your comments, bug reports, ideas, and feature requests. Without you Mailplane wouldn't exist!

Thanks to the faboulous Mailplane translators Mailplane is now used 15 languages and in 71 countries around the world!

Way to go Ruben! You made a lot of people happy! So, OK, I still have a question: err, Windows version? I don’t think there’s anything like Mailplane on the PC side and I guess it would be useful for a lot of people too, me included since I sometimes use a PC as well…

Thanks again!

Congratulations on your success Ruben.  I think it’s due in large part to your openness and responses to comments, feature requests, bug reports and ideas.

Thanks you for Mailplane.  It continues to be a pleasure to use.

Happy birthday, Mailplane! I’m just sorry I only recently discovered it. Here’s to many more successful years to come.

Such a great app! There used to be a swedish translation, why has it disappeared? Is it possible to help out and translate if there’s any missing parts?

@all - thank you so much for your comments.
@simon - I’d love to see the Swedish translation back, I’ll contact you by private email.

Great piece of software, I use it everyday - but I’m missing the swedish version. Any news when it will be available again?

Hi Avlskarl,
Thanks for feedback. Great news: Simon has offered to translate Mailplane to Swedish. As soon as I have his work, it’ll be published.
Hope this helps.
Ruben
