OmniFocus Plugin
OmniFocus is a great "Getting Things Done" tool. With the Mailplane "Clippings" Plugin you now create tasks based on Gmail conversations or searches. The plugin creates tasks that contain a link to the conversation or Gmail search.
Here is how it works:
In OmniFocus you can click the link inside the task to open the conversation in Mailplane:
Requirements
- OmniFocus
- Mailplane 1.77 or better
- Gmail 2 (the old Gmail wont work)
Installation
- Download the plugin dmg and open
- Open Finder and goto /Users/your name/Library/Application Support/OmniFocus
- Create a folder named "Plug-Ins" if needed (see second screenshot)
- Move the plugin to the "Plug-Ins" folder
- Restart OmniFocus
To check if everything went well, open OmniFocus then go to "Clippings preferences":
