Copy account settings to another Mac
How to copy all account settings like signatures, text snippets to another Mac.
Mailplane stores are its accounts settings in a single file. The file contains text snippets, signatures and the account options. If you use Mailplane on multiple Macs, you can avoid reentering the account information:
- Open the
HOME/Library/Application Support/Mailplanefolder - Copy the
Accounts_2.xmlfile to the other Mac (Do not copy the other files, as they contain "session" data)
Other settings:
- Passwords: Are stored in the login keychain.
- General Preferences: Are stored in
HOME/Library/Preferences/com.mailplaneapp.Mailplane.plist
