Use Taskforce in Mailplane

Use Taskforce to convert emails into tasks to save time and stay organized. It’s a plugin provided by taskforceapp.com.

How to Enable Taskforce

Go to Mailplane 3 > Preferences > Accounts, choose the account you want to enable plug-in for, go to Plug-Ins and check the ‘Taskforce’ checkbox.

After enabling, the Taskforce button will appear inside your Mailplane window.

Converting Emails to New Tasks

Here’s how you can convert emails into tasks.

  1. Click the Taskforce “Sign-up” or “Login” button.

  2. Open any email in your inbox and click the Convert to New Task button.

  3. Review the task: change the title, add description, due date, etc.

  4. Press Create Task to convert your email into a task.

  5. Now you can open your task from an email conversation by pressing View Task

Adding Emails to Existing Tasks

You can also add emails to existing tasks. Here is a short guide on how to do that.

  1. Open an email conversation in your inbox and click the Add to Existing Task

  2. Select the task you want to connect to the email.

  3. The selected email will be added to the related emails of the selected task.
