Known Issues

Mailplane 2.1

• “Inserting Image” lab feature only works in the main window

  Solution: Download and install the latest preview version to fix the problem.

• “Offline Gmail” doesn’t work on Snow Leopard

  The current Google Gears version isn't compatible with Snow Leopard. There are currently two solutions:

  Solution 1: Try the workaround.

  Solution 2: Uninstall Google Gears:

  1. Quit Safari and Mailplane
  2. In Finder, open your Applications folder.
  3. Open the folder named Utilities.
  4. Open Terminal.
  5. In Terminal, enter the following command (including the quotes): '/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Gears.plugin/Contents/Resources/uninstall.command'
  6. Press Enter.
  7. Enter your password when prompted.

  Next step: Please watch http://gears.google.com for the Google Gears version and re-install as it becomes available.

• Gmail shows “Loading” or “Still Working” infinitely
  The "Send & Archive" lab feature currently doesn't work with Offline Gmail. Disable one or the other (The issue can be duplicated in Safari). Workaround: Command click the "Sign out" link. Finally login again.
• Toolbar buttons/menu items don’t work.
  Solution: Open your Gmail settings and enable keyboard shortcuts.

Mailplane 2.0

• This version isn’t supported anymore.

  Mailplane 1.x isn't supported anymore. Solution: Please upgrade Mailplane to the latest version - it's free for all customers: Download
