Workaround: Start Safari before clicking the link.

I'm currently investigating this problem. Solution: Use the Mailplane > Reset Gmail Session to create a new session. Here's a workaround in case this doesn't help: Open Safari and load gmail.com. Turn off the Google Calendar lab feature in Gmail > Settings > Labs and restart Mailplane after saving the settings in Safari.
The problem can be caused by some "Application Enhancer" haxies. Solution: Uninstall Application Enhancer or disable the faulty haxie.
The current Google Gears version isn't compatible with Snow Leopard. There are currently two solutions:
