What happens to Mailplane 2?
Existing customers can continue using it but due to our limited resources we need to shift our focus to Mailplane 3 to give you the best Gmail experience. That means we won’t add new features and we can’t guarantee that it will run on newer OSX versions or with newer functionalities of Gmail. But we give our best to keep it alive.
How can I upgrade from Mailplane 2?
Simply download Mailplane 3 and go to ‘Mailplane 3 > License…‘. The license dialog will take care of everything else. Below is a detailed guide if you need some help along the way.
Is Mailplane a subscription service? Are there any recurring fees?
No, Mailplane is not a subscription service. You pay for a Mailplane 3.x license. It’s not time limited in any way and there are no recurring fees. All updates within a major version (say from 3.0 to 3.1) are included in the purchase price.
I can not find my license. Can I get a new one?
Sure thing. Write us to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us the name and/or email address you bought the license with.
Can I use Mailplane on different Macs?
Yes, you can. Install your Mailplane license on any Mac you use.
Can I buy Mailplane in the Mac AppStore?
Unfortunately, no. We’ll never say never, but we don’t have plans yet to sell Mailplane 3 via the App Store.
